On Memorial Day (you can see just how behind I am in my blog), we spent the day in Great Falls Park rock climbing along the Potomac River! It was amazing! We've been there several times, and always come away with a sense of peace and accomplishment! The area is truly beautiful and it is stunning to repel from the top of the cliff, down to the water's edge where you can scout out new and old routes! We made some new friends in our ward, Alex and Clinton, and they came with us! It was a blast. Even Hailey enjoyed herself... but she mostly enjoyed dumping out all the goldfish all over the rocks and feeding the "ABUCKS" (bugs)!
We especially love these shots of Hailey doing a little climbing herself! We're going to have to get her a harness and some shoes here soon! She is a natural!
