The time has come- I am finally sporting a baby bump at 19 weeks! I have mixed feelings about this though. I know it's supposed to be cute and fun, but man... it's kinda depressing to watch that scale keeping going up and up. The things we do for children, right?
So, I have been struggling with another pregnancy challenge that maybe you guys can give me some tips on... People really just don't think before they comment on my growing belly! "You're looking SO pregnant!" or "You're getting SO big!" or "Wow, you are really showing!" How are any of those compliments?!?! And then comes the belly pats and rubbing and touching. I just don't know how to react sometimes haha. Well, next week we find out if the little squirt is a boy or girl! Stay tuned!
You are SO awesome! Can't wait to find out the child's gender/sex/male-femaleness. Ashley says that pregent women have a unique smell.

ReplyDeleteAs far as the comments people make, I can't help you. There is nothing like a pregnant woman to bring out the most unsolicited advice and body contact. The best thing to do is probably just embrace it as people being super excited for you. Or get a shirt that says 'hands off'. :)
